bastilla, orphaned animals and vaginas

Last night I went to a Moroccan restaurant with a couple of friends and then went with Alyssa to get her lip pierced. It looks rather sexy, but she can't really move it yet - I can't wait until it's healed up and she gets a smaller ring and lets me touch it!
It's freezing here - probably 25 degrees last night when we were hanging out - but we got ice cream and ate it while we moseyed on home like it was the middle of summer. If any of you ever come visit me out here I'm taking you to this ice cream place - rumor has it it was the original version of Ben & Jerry's, and it's really good.
This morning I got up at 6:45 after being up until 3 talking on the phone (!) and drove around for an hour with Christina and Mio looking for an animal shelter that we never found - that sucked, but it meant that I could come home and have a nap before I had to work for 3 hours and then do all my homework before I go to the Vagina Monologues tonight!

life is good. I need more coffee.
