My sister's cat, Mud, was hit by a car yesterday. She called to tell me last night a little while after they found out - she says they're going to bury him under one of the trees in the yard or buy a plant to put over him.

I'm sad for her, because he's the first pet that has ever died in our family and he was more hers than anyone else's.
